Neil Hannon Robbed At Knifepoint On Holiday

Divine Comedy mainman Neil Hannon was the victim of a street mugging while on holiday in Spain last week.

The Mirror newspaper reports today (August 4) that Hannon and girlfriend Órla were on holiday in Alicante when they were attacked by two knife-wielding men, who grabbed Órla's handbag before fleeing.

Hannon told the UK tabloid that he and Órla were shaken by the attack but the muggers had got away with only '30.00.

Meanwhile, as previously reported on NME.com, The Divine Comedy, will be releasing their latest album, 'Fin De Siecle', on August 31.
