During the Casanova and A Short Album About Love era, The Divine Comedy signed with the label Tristar (branch of Sony Music) for the distribution of discs in Japan. As a result, four albums were edited by Tristar besides a compilation called The Divine Selection.
Since Fin De Siècle and until The Divine Comedy were signed to Parlophone, the band were distributed in Japan by the label V2. Thus two albums from Setanta were edited with bonus tracks as is usually done in Japan.
When The Divine Comedy was signed to Parlophone, the albums were distributed in Japan by EMI’s partner, that is Toshiba.
