Because of the recording of '
Comme Beaucoup De Messieurs', Labels decided to promote the single with a release of the original
Becoming More Like Alfie. So the French release of
Becoming More Like Alfie has nothing to do with the release of
Something For The Weekend in France. So, no blue border and no yellow line this time. But we can still notice a few differences with the
UK release:
- The serial number is the one from Labels, not Setanta.
- The tracklisting is written on two lines instead of one column as on the UK edition. The red Labels logo can be spotted along with a Virgin France logo. The cut out of this part is also right-angled.
- The quality of the photo inside is worse in the French edition than in the UK one, but we can see more details on the right, the left and at the bottom.
- The CD hasn't legal mentions this time, but we still have the bel BIEM and Labels logos. The copyright mentions have got the Labels serial number and a "printed in Holland".
- Differences on the front are hard to notice. We can see for example that the picture is more complete on the top and on the back on the French sleeve.
