This 4 CD boxset, released by Rhino in late 2007, is quite original as it comes in a rectangular packaging. The design is a British phone box, as it is meant to focus on British music, mainly britpop.
Each CD in the box comes with a jewel box and a booklet. The 4th CD includes a Divine Comedy song, the hit ‘
Something For The Weekend’.

Something For The Weekend’. The CD was probably released before the boxset, as on the back it announce the release of the Brit Box. However, it mentions the release date as October 23, while some listings say it was released on November. It is somehow possible that the release was postponed…
