This compilation, given away with French magazine Les Inrockuptibles, is the first of the regular compilations issued in Spring 2010. It is not to be mistaken with the vol .3 of the Un Printemps 2010 series. Indeed, while the third volume, released in May 2010 includes a song from Bang Goes The Knighthood, this first volume released earlier, in March, features a side-project: the song ‘Cathy’ which was written and sang by Neil Hannon but composed by Rodrigo Leão and performed by his ensemble. The track was originally released on Rodrigo Leão’s album, A Mãe in 2009 but only in Portugal. The album was released in Europe in March/April 2010, hence the inclusion on this compilation.
