In Summer 2001, Parlophone launched a new marketing campaign called ‘Our Label’. A new website with this name was launched, featuring
interviews with the Parlophone artists, and a first sampler CD was released.
The name ‘Our Label’ is, as we can see on the front cover, a word play on the catchphrase ‘Flav
our Of The
Label’, which was the name of the previous marketing campaign. Hence, this promo is not to be misunderstood with the one entitled
Flavour Of The Label.

Like previous EMI samplers (
If You Want It You Can Have It &
I’ve Got More Than I Need), this disc comes in a recycled carboard sleeve, but not a gatefold this time, a simple one. A card with instructions about the CD-ROM content and about the label’s website was also included.
The audio tracks were all from the Parlophone catalogue, and included The Divine Comedy’s ‘
Eye Of The Needle’.
A subsequent release was also issued, entitled
Our Label 02.
