This compilation CD was given away with the September 2004 issue of Q magazine and focuses on songs by well-recognized rock songwriters being covered by contemporary artists. This includes David Bowie’s ‘Life On Mars’ which was covered by Neil Hannon and Yann Tiersen at his Black Session in December 1998. Inside the booklet are mentioned the original releases for each songs. The track was taken from Yann Tiersen’s live album, but actually have been edited a bit (faded). On the back of the booklet, EMI France and Labels are thanked as well as the Divine Management.
