Crouch End Festival Chorus

The Crouch End Festival Chorus (CEFC) is an independent symphonic choir based in Crouch End, near London. It was formed in 1984 by John Gregson and David Temple who is also the conductor.

The Crouch End Festival Chorus has performed commissioned works by composers, including Simon Bainbridge, John Woolrich, Murray Gold and Joby Talbot. Works for Joby Talbot include ‘Finding Silence’ (1997) and the soundtrack of the The Hitchhicker’s Guide To The Galaxy (2005).

Joby has also introduced the Crouch End Festival Chorus to The Divine Comedy during the recording of Fin De Siècle. The CEFC has also performed with many other popular artists including Travis, Noel Gallagher, Ray Davies and Ennio Morricone.
