David Graham

David Graham was a member of October, Neil Hannon and Lawrence Hoy’s band before The Divine Comedy. He played bass with the band from 1985 to 1988 and then had to leave for university. Although he still contributed to the Exposition album by shooting photos of Neil and Lawrence in various places of Enniskillen. He joined the band for their only show after the release of Exposition in Cork.

After that he was asked to leave since Neil Hannon’s ambition was to become a professional musician and wanted people who could devote all their time in the band. [1] When guest at a radio show in 1999, Neil Hannon was reminded from a fax sent by David about the good old days, Neil laughed “David Graham, my old bass player. I fired him!”
