Robin Smith played trumpet and flugelhorn on the Casanova album.

Robin studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama leaving in 1995. They have performed with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Opera House Orchestra and the National Symphony Orchestra. They also run their own Dixieland jazz band The Stateside Stompers, and was the founding musical director of Surrey Brass.

Focusing mostly on education, with a passion for conducting Symphonic Wind Bands, Robin has been Head of Brass at Dulwich College since 2008. In 2020 they wrote a book on how to teach brass - unpublished due to too many Star Wars references!
