Informations

Considered by many as one of the best B-sides, this song has never been played live.

It’s one of the many Divine Comedy songs about nature and animals, here birds.
Leonardo da Vinci, among other things he did, studied birds. Saint Francis of Assisi loved animals (and they loved him too): it is said that one day he halted to preach to the birds the grace God gave them, and the birds gave him back their joy in their own way.

The Seehouse is the name of the Hannon’s house in Fivemiletown, near Enniskillen. Neil arrived there in 1986.
