‘La Dolche Vita’ was actually the working title of ‘
Generation Sex’. The title suits that idea that the original version of ‘
Generation Sex’ actually featured samples from
La Dolche Vita, therefore it must have been named later than the time when the instrumental demo (released on
Rarities) was produced. Though, we don’t really know if this title was finally just an alternate idea; or if the song originally had different lyrics with more references to the film instead of the words ‘Generation Sex’.
