Informations

This W.B. Yeats’ poem was originally read by Neil Hannon and recorded by Keane as an intro sample to their song ‘A Bad Dream’ during their tour in Autumn 2006 (which was happening at the same time as The Divine Comedy’s final tour for Victory For The Comic Muse).

The studio recording of that reading has never been released, but is to be found on Keane’s live recordings of shows from that tour.

Later, in 2007, Neil Hannon would join Keane on stage for a live reading, in Dublin and London, the latter being filmed for the DVD Keane Live.
